Kneeboard Turning & Corners

10 XP when a coach verifies it

What it is

Demonstrate controlled turning and cornering while kneeboarding. The rider must maintain balance and direction through the cable corners while staying in control of the handle and board.

How to do it

  1. Move the handle towards the opposite hip of the direction you want to go. Stay down low and adjust your weight to your outside knee. Lean away from the rope, using your body weight to edge towards the corner buoys; aim to be in between the buoys. 2 seconds before the corner clicks, come off your edge, get low and reset to your starting body position. Look in the direction you want to go.
